Dual Citizenship Certificate Fee
Foreign-based Bangladeshis seeking dual citizenship certificates will now have to pay 10,000 Taka, double the previous fee of 5,000 Taka. Bangladeshi expatriates seeking foreign citizenship while maintaining their Bangladeshi nationality will be affected by this change.
Bangladesh Citizenship Certificate Fee
Bangladesh citizenship certificates now cost significantly more. Formerly set at 4,000 Taka, it has now been increased fivefold to 20,000 Taka. In addition, those who wish to renounce their Bangladeshi citizenship must now pay 20,000 Taka instead of 5,000 Taka.
